If you're going to steal eight of my photographs for a single post (images 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, and 19), you could at least give me some credit. Not to mention respecting the Creative Common license terms on derivative works.
chuck: i'm happy to remove these photos and any other pix you find on my blog. i did not knowingly steal them. like virtually every other photo posted on this blog, these have all been collected one at a time from other blogs, not from Flickr accounts or anywhere else. no credit was given to any of these photos where i found them previously.
there are only six photos in this post by the way, not eight. could you perhaps be referring to another post?
if you've been through my blog you will notice that I credit photographers (like Finneye) wherever I can find credits, and even post links to their websites.
I stopped using (at least knowingly) Paul Culver's work because he never responded to my email when he pulled down his Flickr page (sadly). Your profile is not available so i can't even find out what your email is. if you want me to respond to your assertion that these are your photos, i would like to be able to email you directly. you can email me from my profile. if i knew where these images came from or that they were taken by the same photographer, and taht you had them listed under this license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/us/

i suggest ignoring this profile-less and email-blind "Chuck" until he steps up with a way to contact or identify him. i doubt he knows how to aim a camera, let alone take such amazing pictures.

Hooo-weee! Well, I do know that this commentor's list of photos by number makes no sense in relation to this post or to the whole series of Stanford Swimmer posts.
Furthermore, I take crediting photographers seriously, and do a lot of research into who took them and posted them, and where, so i can refer people to other websites so see more work by some of the photographers who take these pix. Finding credits is VERY difficult in the blog world.. Few people if any take the time in photo blogs to list credits. It is the lay of the land. And it is a wonder anyone can figure out who took what really....
